Today, I have the honour of being "hostess" at Digital Two for Tuesday. Cora, who runs the blog, shares lovely digital vintage images. If you haven't visited her blog yet you'd better hurry over there - you won't be disappointed, I promise!

Jag använde ett av veckans motiv till det här kortet/I used one of this weeks images for this card:



Jag kände att jag ville göra en distressruta som bakgrund till det vackra motivet, och efter en stunds funderande lyckades jag komma på hur man kombinerar digitala stämplar med distressrutetekniken:

* printa ut motivet två gånger i samma storlek
* skär till det ena till den storlek du vill ha på kortet
* klipp ur damen ur det andra så att du får en " mask" (tänk på att klippa i eller straxt innanför kantlinjen så att du inte får en halo runt motivet senare)
* maskera kanterna på den tillskurna utskriften. Jag valde att riva innerkanterna, du gör som du vill!
* lägg den utklippta masken på samma del av motivet. Håll fast den medans du färgar in resten av rutan med distress ink
* lyft bort masken och ta bort maskerna runt kanterna
* färglägg damen


I wanted to make a ditress square as background fot this lovely image, and after thinking for a while I came up with an idea on how to combine a digital image with a distress technique:

* print the image twice in the same size
* cut one of the images to a size fitting your card
* cut out the lady from the other image to use as a mask (remember to cut at the inside of the outlines rather than on the outside, otherwise you'll get a halo round the image later)
* mask a frame on the first image. I tore the edges but you do as you please!
* lay the mask on top of the lady in the image, hold it there while colouring the square usin distress ink
* lift the mask and remove the frame mask
* colour the lady
