Lek med tissue paper

Catherine Scanlon är en av de kreativa mixed media-konstnärer som Nathalie Kalbach rekryterat till årets Creatve Jumpstart. Hon demonstrerade två tekniker och jag har hunnit testa den ena, nämligen att kalkera en bild på tunnt papper och sedan färglägga delar av det.
Jag valde att göra min egen "twist" på detta (till viss del beroende på att jag inte hade alla de produkter som behövdes för tekniken) och stämplade ett motiv på det tunna papperet i stället för att kalkera och sedan måla.
När färgen torkat monterade jag det tunna papperet på en bit kartong som jag klätt med gammalt notpapper så att notorna skulle lysa igenom på de omålade områdena.
Catherine Scanlon is one of the creative mixed media artists Nathalie Kalbach enrolled for this year's Creative Jumpstart. She demoed two techniques and so far I've tried one of them: copying a picture on tissue paper and colouring it.
I chose to "twist" it a bit (mainly because I didn't have the products she used) by stamping an image on the tissue paper and paint parts of it.
When the paint was dry, I glued the tissue paper to a piece of cardboard on which I had put a piece of music paper that I wanted to show through the parts of the tissue paper that I hadn't painted.
Rosen och hjärtat har jag gjort själv. Blingstenarna (hjärtformade) och bakgrundspapperet kommer från mina "samlingar".
I made the rose and the heart myself. The rest (the heart shaped bling stones and the patterned paper) is from my stash.
